NRAS Mutations Detection Kit
Detection of NRAS Mutations

The NRAS oncogene (Neuroblastoma RAS viral oncogene homolog) belongs to the RAS family and plays an important role in regulating cell division and cellular differentiation as a protein kinase. Mutations in this oncogene contribute to the development of various cancers, including melanoma, acute myeloid leukemia, colorectal cancer, and thyroid cancer. According to reports, NRAS mutations are observed in more than 10% of patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). This oncogene is located on chromosome 1, exon 2 (codons 12 and 13), exon 3 (codons 59–61), exon 4 (codons 117 and 146).
